Žvalgo RChŽ padaliniai, lėktuvų (sraigtasparnių) įgulos, taip pat visų kariuomenės rūšių žvalgybos padaliniai, RChB stebėjimo postai (RChB stebėtojai). Radiacinėje ir cheminėje žvalgyboje naudojami RChŽ prietaisai.
